Thailand SHA Plus refers to the certification issued by Amazing Thailand Safety and Health Administration and their “Sandbox program”.

This is to facilitate the November 1st quarantine-free reopening to vaccinated visitors from approved countries.

Phuket Sandbox started officially, vaccinated travelers can arrive directly to Phuket, and stay there without quarantine starting from July 1st. All vaccinated tourist must stay at least one night in one of the SHA Plus certified hotels, where at least 70% of the staff have been vaccinated. Before arriving,  all travelers must show:

  • A Flight Booking

  • A Certificate of Vaccination (fully vaccinated) with an approved vaccine at least 14 days before traveling.

  • Those previously infected within 3 months must have received 1 dose of an approved vaccine at least 14 days before traveling.

  • A Medical Certificate with an RT-PCR lab result indicating that COVID-19 is not detected issued no more than 72 hours before traveling (all travelers).

  • A Confirmed Payment for SHA+ / AQ Accommodation, and RT-PCR test.

  • An Insurance Policy with coverage no less than US $50,000.
